Creations for Charity is an annual fundraising event where LEGO builders from all over the world donate their LEGO creations to sell and raise money to buy LEGO sets for underprivileged children during the holidays.

Our progress

In our first year in 2009, we sold 43 creations and raised $2,010. We purchased and donated almost $3,000 worth of LEGO sets to Toys for Tots.

In 2010 we sold 120 creations and raised $9,035 from sales and monetary donations and we donated over $14,000 worth of LEGO sets along with a check for $723.00 to Toys for Tots.

In 2011 we sold 66 creations and raised $5,700. Despite the lower funds, we still donated almost $9,200 worth of Lego sets.

In 2012, we sold over 100 creations and for the first time donated sets to countries outside the US including Chile and Croatia.

In 2013, we sold over 100 creations and raised $8,600 and donated over $20,000 worth of Lego sets to children in 6 cities across 3 countries.

Here’s how it works:

Anyone interested in donating a custom LEGO creation can do so between October 1st and November 15th of each year by filling out a donation form. We will then list your creation on our store and contact you with the shipping address of the buyer once your creation sells. You will then package and ship the creation to the buyer. We are able to reimburse you for the cost of making your creation and shipping it to the buyer.
